It’s all very well reading about tips and techniques in a book, but how do you go about putting them into action?

That’s where the talks and workshops come in! You can book Katy to run a bespoke session either one-to-one, or with groups at an educational institution or workplace.

Talks and workshops will be geared to your interests and needs, but will be based around the main topics covered in the book.

In general, talks last for 1 hour. Workshops range from 2 hour sessions to full-day programmes, and it is possible to combine talks with workshops across a half or full-day programme. For individuals, sessions will generally be one to two hours.

Talks are lecture-style sessions. The aim is to provide deeper information and to enrich understanding of one or more of the topics covered in the book. 

All sessions will involve question and answer sessions and there will be opportunities for audience interaction throughout – how much depends on the size of the group. 

The minimum group number for these sessions is 12; if your group number is smaller than that, a workshop will be more appropriate. 




Workshops are designed as fully interactive, highly practical sessions. The workshops provide delegates with the opportunity to explore activities and discuss issues which are relevant to them. They are skills-focussed sessions, covering topics such as setting goals, exploring career pathways, or practising mindfulness. 

To enable the sessions to be as interactive and hands-on as possible, the maximum group number for single workshops is 30, however workshop sessions can be provided for larger groups as part of a half day or full day programme. 

Individual Sessions

These practical, personalised sessions are tailored to the individual’s needs and can help you address any of the issues or techniques highlighted in the book. It is a powerful way to successfully navigate your personal quarter-life crisis.

These individual sessions can take place face-t0-face or over Skype, for a maximum of two people.
